France Women change two for Grand Slam tilt in Wales

France Women have made two changes to their starting line-up ahead of their Grand Slam clash with Wales in Colwyn Bay on Friday night.

Les Bleues can complete a clean sweep with a win over Wales, having beaten England in front of a world record crowd last week in Grenoble.

And to do so, Annick Hayraud has made two changes to that team, with Céline Ferer and Lise Arricastre coming into the starting line-up.

Ferer, who is more often employed in the second row, comes in at openside flanker, with skipper Gaëlle Hermet shifting to No.8.

As a result, Romane Ménager drops back down to the bench, as she did in the clash with Italy.

The other change is a straight swap with Arricastre starting at loosehead prop, with Caroline Thomas among the replacements.

Elsewhere it’s an unchanged side with Pauline Bourdon and Caroline Drouin again pulling the strings in the half-backs, while Jessy Trémoulière, scorer of two tries against England, again at full-back.

France are looking to complete their fifth Grand Slam in the Women’s Six Nations, having previously achieved the feat in 2002, 2004, 2005 and 2014.
