They take the title back from England, who won the Grand Slam as year ago – with last weekend’s 18-17 win against the Red Roses in Grenoble in front of a record crowd the crucial result.
It is the sixth title in France’s history and their first Grand Slam since 2014.
And with France also claiming the Under-20s Six Nations title on the same evening in Colwyn Bay, there was plenty of celebration at Parc Eirias.
