Their late win over England last weekend in Grenoble proved to be the decisive fixture and social media was understandably full of celebratory messages for the victors.
In the other game of the evening, England beat Ireland 33-11, but the damage to their title ambitions had already been done.

Jessy Trémoulière was a star performer throughout the campaign and scored her sixth try of the Championship against Wales before celebrating with teammates and the trophy.
